^^^^ hardly a helpful reply.
I don't personally know anyone with one, but from the NHS website-

Possible side effects of Flutiform

Possible side effects of Flutiform include throat irritation, headache, thrush infection in the mouth and throat, and hoarseness.

Tell your doctor immediately if you have difficulty breathing or other signs of severe allergy such as swelling of the face, mouth, tongue or throat, itchiness or skin rash//

Thanks for that, Pixie. I know these can affect inhaler-users and while I do have some hoarseness due to other inhalers, what I'm experiencing now is joint pain. I've known of three other people who have had their COPD medication changed and suffered serious and incurable joint pain. I've stopped the Flutiform anyway and I'm going back to my old inhalers.
For my COPD I use Seretide 500 and Spiriva 18 mg inhaler powder.
If I need it I also have Ventolin

Yes, Redman, these or similar were what I used for years until the doc pressed me to try 'the latest treatment'. The only good thing about Flutiform is that one inhaler does the job of two, but I'll be asking to go back to my old inhalers anyway.

rondeau....hoarseness is a classic side effect of inhaled steroids, but joint pains are well documented.

Why you should get them with Flutiform and not your previous ones I do not know.

Weigh up the pros and cons before making your decision to go back to your GP.
