Blister In Mouth

Hello, I've noticed what feels like a bit like a blister (feels fluidy) on the roof of my mouth by the second to last back tooth (bearing in mind I have no wisdom teeth any more), right at the back of the tooth. I'd say about the size of between a 5p and 1p piece.

It doesn't hurt (save that now I've felt it with my tongue I can't stop feeling it...argh! I will stop!). Am being very gentle though, I thought it was maybe a piece of food stuck at first. It feels very soft and smooth.

Anyone know what it is (I guess you can get blister in your mouth?)/ what could cause it and if it is likely to go away on its own and if there is any real infection risk with it bursting?

I can't think of anything I've done which could have caused damage or eaten anything too hot or anything like that.

Have you burnt the roof of your mouth?

No, that was my first thought. Would have made sense but can't remember burning it and only had one "hot" meal which was my tea just recently.

I've had something similar before. I'm sure it will disappear in a couple of days!

Could have been caused by a hot drink or meal should clear up soon apparently mouth blisters and ulcers clear up well could put a little mouth gel on it to sooth it!

Hoping it will just disappear.

On lots of meds, tocilizumab is the most recent one, Been on others like pilocarpine, pregabalin, mirtazapine, painkillers, omeprazole, bile acid sequestrants for a while.

I think I have some Bonjela somewhere but not sure how old it is, will hunt it out. It doesn't hurt like I figure a sore/ulcer kind of thing would.

Mucocoel....no big deal. It will burst and go away.

What causes it? Dunno! May be due to slight trauma when you have been eating and never noticed.

I do have a confession to make...have just been thinking and remembered I got some soup from our sandwich guy which I had before lunch break as had a late one so was sipping while working. Was gorgeous homemade soup...but very hot...had to leave it a bit after first sip. Was thinking of my wrap later at actual lunch!

I swear I have the memory of a goldfish at the moment, didn't get much sleep last night! Sorry, likely that's what caused it then!
