So Worried
18 Answers
We have just got back from my grand-daughter's. She was rushed to Sheffield on Friday with a heart attack. She is only 30. Apparently she has 'sticky blood' which contributed to 2 miscarriages in the past and they think that has been part of the problem this time. They have put her on beta blockers and aspirin and as long as things go ok has to go back in 3 months.
Talk about panic - we were beside ourselves. She seemed in good spirits today if a little tired but that's only to be expected

Granny.... what a shock for you...and she's so young.... I imagine she'd be tired after something like that but I hope all is well for her....and you relax yourself now!...Gx

Granny, your panic is totally understandable, but please be reassured that her being in good spirits today is an extremely good sign and there is every chance that she will make a full recovery. Heart attacks these days are not the death sentence they once were. I had a similar experience to you, though the person in my case was 37, and lives these days like it never happened.
Morning, Granny.....glad she's upbeat and positive...that's half the battle really....
The friend I have who had something similar said she did feel a little scared for a while afterwards.....but had good care and listened to the advice given... now she puts us all to shame with her buzz and energy....xx
