High Blood Pressure

Just curious really to know why my blood pressure went sky high a while back, had it checked three times over a couple of weeks with high results yet yesterday when I had it checked it was normal......any ideas anyone please? To my knowledge nothing much has changed. Thank you

a wee bit of stress perhaps? coming off an illness like a flu?

thank you for the answer DT but I do try an avoid stress at all costs although I realise it may have crept in unnoticed!
Don't think it's that ummmm as had my bp taken at two different locations but thank you anyway.

Was it checked both times by very dishy doctors ?

That can't be ignored.....see your GP.

Why did it happen? Could be many reasons.

Similar happened to me. It was mega high when checked at my GP surgery, then mega-high when I had it checked at the dentists.
However, my sister then checked it for me at home, and it was absolutely fine.

White coat syndrome, apparently.
