As more and more of the NHS is privatised in order to channel the extra £8bn promised by Cameron (which inevitably will come from the poor taxpayer) into the coffers of his rich shareholder cronies, and as this consequently fails to perform (as existing private sectors of public services are already failing, including already privatised parts of the NHS) the NHS will crumble and die.

It was the Labour party who did most to privatise the NHS.

Things like the PFI initiative (as used by Labour) is now costing the NHS millions a year.

And phrases like "RIP NHS" are just the sort of stupid meaningless phrases that Labour came out with over and over again during the election build up, and of course look what happened to them.

Also phrases like "coffers of his rich shareholder cronies" are also right out of the Labour book of standard negative phrases to make about the Tories.

In his resignation speech Miliband talked about Labour being the party of the "working man" but that phrase is like something out of the 1920s. Most people don't think of themselves as the "working man" any more, which is why you lost.

The only reason Blair et all got in in 1997 was by ditching that old fashioned "Labour" image and making themselves look and sound more like "Tories". Since then Labour have gone back to this old "cloth cap" image, hence why they failed.

You had your chance, you lost. The public has spoken. Stop bleating about it.

I can't see that the NHS will ever be fully privatised. I doubt the NHS will ever 'crumble and die' either.

I guess the twisted logic goes something like this ...

1) Only the poor use the NHS.
2) The poor don't vote Tory.
3) Therefore destroying the NHS wouldn't harm the Tories.

Why is it, in 2015, that it is "de riguer" to believe that only the State can deliver healthcare? With the possible exception of defence, the State is usually the last institution you would choose to provide vital services and its record in doing so is, at best, patchy.

To understand this look at the difference between State and private education and the differences between privatised utilities such as Telecoms and their former State counterparts.

Private companies are best at providing goods and services and healthcare is no different. Yes they want a profit and that's an advantage because it encourages them to perform well.

No.That's just what politicians say. Many nations have health services far superior to that of the UK's (many having private enterprise involvement to a greater or lesser degree) and they have no reason to envy ours at all.

No the US health stats are on a par with ours as so many people are uninsured and cant afford any health care ( 60m out of 200m I think )
