I find managing your pain relief properly can make a bit difference, even if it's pre-emptive pain relief if you get chronic pain.
Try to drink lots of water, hot water with a slice of lemon and honey in it is nice and refreshing.
I try and make myself get out and get some fresh air, even just to sit at a coffee shop with a book or people watching. Try and get a little bit of exercise, even if only very light.
I have been working on making my fatigue more bearable and have found a nice shower with a lovely Cussons lavender shower gel then putting on Johnsons baby bedtime moisturiser and sitting with a nice cup of camomile tea can make me nice and cosy sleepy, rather than just an exhausted in pain slump. The little bit of extra looking after myself helps too.
I find routine is key, your body knows what to expect then, it's also easier to function on auto-pilot when you need to.
I don't lie around in bed unless I absolutely have to and keep to a sleep routine, including no TV in the bedroom (only for sleep and getting dressed/undressed).
I avoid things like energy drinks and tablets, it's an artificial high and can cause problems with your heart and such, also probably full of sugar so a sugar high then crash.
Think of something you enjoy doing and organise something, get some music on which will cheer you up and even get you singing or dancing around a little or just make you feel a bit brighter.
