My GP. Has put me on Bormazepan for stress ( business related ) he told me to take 1.5 mg , on pill in the morning and even one in the p.m. If so needed. My question is, should I take them as and when needed or is it a treatment to take regularly ? I forgot to ask him. For example weekends I do not feel so bad. I have only taken during two days so far, 1 pill each day, they did relax me, but also made me feel very tired. Any experience / advice out there ?

Bromazepam.........no.......I have never taken such tablets.

I would take them on a "when necessary basis." It 's a small dose, so don't worry.

Thanks Sqad. Lucky old you never having needed them!
LOl...when you have peace of mind as to the way that you have lived your life........one doesn't need tablets.

I have been guided by the teachings of our Lord.........

LOL......I wonder if He could teach me a few how to deal with a few business dilemmas .
I'll ask him next time i email him...
Sorry to criticise you, Sqad, and you may have been speaking "tongue-in-cheek" in which case what I am about to say does not apply and I take it back. However, if you are serious in what you said in your latest post to Samuraisan, I am astonished that you have come up with such a value judgement. You are implying that Samuraisan is not happy with the way he/she has lived his/her life (according to the teachings of "your" lord) and that anxiety, and the need to take pills, is the result. You on the other hand (you claim) are satisfied with they way you lived your life, and you don't need pills. So this implies that everyone who suffers from anxiety and needs help with medication has led a bad life? Hardly helpful, Sqad, and certainly not a worthy comment from the person that I have always revered for his help and patience on this site (i.e. you).

Chanel5, lighten up, it's Saturday morning, I knew Sqad was only joking. He has given me and many invaluable advise in the past.
chanel........it was a *** joke........tongue in cheek.

Where have you been over the last 8 years of my posts and criticism of my lifestyle........c'mon!
Perhaps you should just follow the advice of your GP. Is that not why you went to see him/her in the first place? If you have any questions you can surely go back to see your GP for advice?
ABers are a bit touchy this morning............
Ok, thanks for the prompt comments on my post. I apologise. Part of me knew it was a joke but another part of me danced in outrage. The outrage won, and I just had to comment. I am humbled and contrite. Sqad is still my hero.
chanel....LOL....LOL.

Never NEVER apologise on AB.

Thanks for the link uk, after reading that I think I will only take it in extreme occasions. My GP told me to go back in 30 days, it's such a performance to go there and see him only to ask this question. Let's see if any other AB readers have taken it before and their opinions. Sqad has said to use as needed, so I will take heed.
