She looks a fright - and yet now she is awaiting pioneering surgery to stop her face collapsing - no doubt at the expense of the taxpayer!

I must confess I have little sympathy. She had it all and promptly snorted it all up her nose.

NoMercy, Yes, I do feel sympathy for her. She’s been incredibly stupid but we can all be wise after the event. Imagine looking in the mirror and seeing that looking back at you. I’d hazard a guess that no one is more sorry for what she’s done to her once beautiful face than she is. Awful, just awful.

Yes I also feel some sympathy for her, from a woman's viewpoint, because she was indeed really beautiful once and that face looks beyond repair. She has been a bit unlucky because not everyone who takes drugs or has surgery ends up looking that awful. If I were her I'd become a recluse.

But a lot of people use or have used cocaine, especially in the white collar, celebrity world etc. They don't end up looking like that.

I feel sorry for her. As she said, it wasn't the coke addiction that wrecked her face, but botched surgery, and not just the operation to repair her septum.

If she hadn't been addicted to coke she wouldn't have needed the surgery in the first place. Another example of "blame somebody else for my mistake".

Strange story.
She had naso-facial problems in 1992 following a traffic accident.
Cocaine was almost certainly the cause of her need for her operation in 2002 ( difficult operation with poor results due due her nasal perforation (hole in it).
"Botched operation" in 2015......no details.

I'm very sorry if someone has botched medical procedures and also sympathetic to people with addiction issues who don't hurt other people, and I can feel equal sympathy for 'elites' as for anyone else. We are all human.
