Has anyone a cure for a fungal toe nail infection that actually works?
I must have tried every "over the counter" remedy and a hundred "home cure remedies" with no success whatsoever.
I was diagnosed with a fungal toe infection and was prescribed, Loceril. In the end it turned out not to be an infection but a bad bruise caused by my granddaughter’s roller skate.
I’ve been told that it can take up to a year for a fungal nail infection to clear up though, with any medication. You can buy this over the counter and it’s costs about £18.
Andy....I didn't look at any advice....I just poured a good few drops on the toe until it cleared up....and that was really quickly....and now I have a foot spray from Savers which contains TT Oil and I use that after every shower....x
My chiropodist recommended applying Listerine Mouth Wash (the purple type) to my large toe nails every day. So far so good as the fungal nail infection seems to have cleared up.
Needawin...I had mine sorted with TT Oil..but chatting to my chiropodist not long ago she had been on a course where they were discussing a new and very successful treatment for fungal infections.....no idea what it was but might be worth finding a good chiropodist....x
I agree with Tilly2 Tea-Tree Oil worked for me, I had done and used all sorts of lotions and potions, just bathed my foot in in it, for a few weeks, and it cleared up. (I bathed it 2 times a day)
