I'm 60 years old, 6ft 1, about 20 stone. The only exercise I do is walking, I usually walk at least 30 minutes a day.
Over the last fortnight, I am continually running short of breath. I can only walk for about 5 or 6 minutes before I have to stop and catch my breath. Walking up stairs is just as bad.
Do you have any kind of chest infection Tubbycotes or have you had a cold That is what brings on my breathlessness I am asthmatic but it is it is usually controlled unless I have an infection. It was the same before I lost weight so whilst my weight didn't help it didn't cause it
Whatever size or age you are...if you suffer fatigue too it can be a sign of low or deficient vitamins...D and B12 to mention too. Also if your iron is low, that gives same symptoms too. Hope you get better soon after seeing GP.
