I'm been driven crackers by itching in between my toes. Ive often had athletes foot before now, with broken, sore, itchy skin, but this is just persistent itching. Also, don't know if this is connected, but have got 'blotchy' skin on face and chest.
Is there anything that I can buy over the counter to help.
Thanks.

Sounds like a allergy. Try Clarityn or any anti histamine. Athlete’s foot is caused by not drying in between your toes properly according to my doctor.
^^glad he's not my doctor!
Canestan. And speak to the pharmacist.
Shake some powder for athletes foot, inbetween your toes, after washing feet.
Not sure about face and chest. Try Sudecreme.
Footbath with salty water (or paddle in the sea, but you might get hypothermia)
Daktarin cream
I used to use a footbath with a bit of bleach in the water. If I had nothing else. Seemed effective.

Thanks for all quick replies, appreciate it.
As I said, its not athletes foot as no broken skin or soreness...just itching. I do dry my feet and toes thoroughly after washing but this present itching is driving me up the wall. Don't understand why I have it tho. I NEVER wear socks or shoes when at home so plenty of fresh air there. Clean socks everyday etc.

Will nip in to the pharmacy now Ive been given some OTC suggestions,
Thanks again all :-)

BLEACH???
Sorry to disagree......but it does sound like a fungus infection which has spread to your chest.....probably via your towel.
Yes bleach kills stuff. Quarter cup in a bowl. Rinse well after.
See! We knew you were a fun guy really.

that's an interesting thought Sqad, thanks. Cant see any signs of infection in my toes though. No discharge, redness or broken skin??
Just the feeling that I want to get a wire brush in between them and scrub away :-(
This'll get rid of it. £4 from Amazon.
Canesten Athletes Foot Dual Action Cream, 30 g

Theland, I want to stop the itching....not burn my skin off!!!
(I once burnt my penis on a bleached lavatory bowl, but that's another story for another day....)

LOL douglas, yes. I *DID* see what you did there!

Thanks Ladybirder but I don't think its athletes foot.
Ouch Nailit!
If this was in Chatterbank, I'd tell you to spit on 'em.

Worse that ouch Theland. It wasn't even my skin that was burnt (if you get my drift)

Behave Tilly, this is a serious category dontcha know?
I think Sqad is absolutely correct (and athlete's foot is a fungus infection). I had this in the past, itched a lot on the chest but flaking skin on the face - try applying white vinegar to all affected areas, every time after washing.
