Dont just take the word of the travel company you are travelling with get it from the insurance company-I work with travel insurance and even though the doctor says okay to fly the insurance company may not be okay with the condition. Your Travel insurance company may not cover this and offer a refund as a pre existing condition not specified on the poliy will not be covered unless you have there okay in writing. Call the insurance company to advise. With our company they may suggest you get copies of the xrays and take them with you and possibly pay a higher excess dont just go as medical treatment in the USA is horificly expensive.
