Nasal Polyps

Following a stuffy nose and bad snoring for the past few months, I've been diagnosed as having nasal polyps - got to try nasal spray for six weeks and if not successful in shrinking them, then have to have surgery. Has anyone had surgery and was it done in theatre or were you awake in outpatients - thanks.

My friend had surgery and it was very successful his wife says he doesn't snore anymore
