Green Tea
19 Answers
I know drinking green tea has lots of good anti-oxidants in, but when I have tried it, I really can't stand the taste.
You are not supposed to put milk in the one I had, so I drank it black, and it was very bitter. I put some sugar in, and still the taste was not appertising.
Does anyone know of a green tea that actually tastes nice?

Always use the leaves and not a bag, boil the water and let it stand for a minute or two and then use it. You can either put the leaves in a small infuser, or use a coffee percolator. As other replies have stated, it`s best not to make it too strong. The only way that I can drink it is by adding honey, about a teaspoon per mug. I`d also say not to try to drink it too hot, think of it more as a drink that you can sip over the course of half an hour or so...it`s fine as it cools.
It is an aquired taste and don`t be tempted by the ones that have other bits and bobs added, it does defeat the purpose!
