Burns
4 Answers
My dad accidently caused a fire ball in the kitchen during a power cut (long story in which he set both himself and the dog on fire!) He burned his arm and went to the nurse to have it dressed and my mum has been redressing it for him. It's purple but doesn't hurt atall. The nurse said to go back if it starts to hurt but my question is this. Why does it not hurt, surely it should? Theres a 3 inch blister and loads of burnt skin. How come it doesn't hurt? The dogs ok by the way, he didn't notice he was on fire :)

He's a bit singed down one side and his whiskers are all frazzled but luckily he's a wee bit thick so didn't really notice he was on fire. He ran from the fire ball tho. lucky he did cos his bed went full on fire and had to be thrown outside and melted to bits. He wasn't traumatised or anything and not injured at all. Dad's arms pretty nasty tho :(
