Is it possible to detect possible CO contamination of a car's climate control air supply (to the car interior) from a fractured car exhaust leaking exhaust gases into the ventilation system?

Carbon monoxide is odourless but should be detectable by a c.m detector you can buy from Tesco's et al for a few pounds.
