What exercise to do?

I am a very busy person and if i am not working all day I'm at university all day, could anyone suggest a way for me to keep fit that does not take up too much time but something that really works?? Thanks

If you don't live miles and miles away from your work or Uni you could try walking or cycling there. Always walk or run up any flight of stairs you come across in your daily routine, always visit someone you need to speak to at work or uni instead of texting/emailing or ringing them. Basically, what i'm trying to say is, just move about as much as you can in the bits of the day where you don't have to be sat down! Works for me!
Your choice would need to be a whole body exercise that can be pretty hard. I'd suggest the rowing machine and running up steps for your bum. How much time can you devote?
Swimming is good exercise. Or you could try yoga.
Or other than that just give in and stop fighting it, join us slobs. xx

Thanks for taking the time to reply, I'd say I could devote an hour as this allows me to do exercise then shower and get to bed to get a suitable sleep. Could you suggest anything for an hour? I do walk a lot at work but as they are both far from my home could not walk to any of them. Thanks Yolanda
How about a DVD or a stepper? You could do this for an hour and still get to bed at a good hour?
You may have a problem exercising just before sleep. Adrenaline may keep you awake. Any exercise machine that uses both arms and legs is suitable.

Thanks everyone for the replies, they are all great. I think before I can start to exercise I need to motivate myself which I'm going to start doing. I've got some DVD's and invested in a skipping rope and a mini trampoline, thats a start!!
