does anyone know of a website that tells you how many units of alcohol are in different drinks?
I know that one unit is equal to a half pint etc. but cans come in different sizes and strengths and it can be a bit tiresome trying to convert pints into litres and then trying to work out the different strengths.
thanks in advance...
(purely for research purposes only....honest) lol

Pretty sure all cans and bottles of boose state pretty accurately how many units of alcohol are in the. follow that up with a simple bit of maths for the conversion.

thanks for that bigeye...cant say that ive ever noticed that on cans. Will have to have a look next time im in the off licence.cheers
Multiply the pecentage alcohol by the volume in litres.

eg bottle of standard whisky = 0.7 x 40 = 28 units

bottle of 12% wine = 0.75 x 12 = 9 units.
