Is there a particular way/diet that helps you lose weight in the face? My mate is always complaining that he has a fat face so he wanted to know how he could get a skinny face!! Cheers in advance

Plus then longer fat has been stored in a particular place the harder and longer it will take to remove it. good look tho
I don't think you can reduce fat on one area of the body only, when you lose weight you lose the same amount from all over your body, not just from one place. If your friend takes up a weight-loss plan, he should lose weight from his face, as well as the rest of his body. Because there is naturally less fat around the face than, say, the stomach, it means that the weight loss will be much more noticeable much quicker.
What violaine says is untrue i'm afraid. if you diet then yes the weightloss is equal in proportion across the whole body. If however you exercise an area of the body (say legs) then the fat deposits in that area will get used primarily, so the fat loss will be greatest in this area as the muscles use the local store of fat.
I have heard that beer and lager drinking is a big contributer to facial fat (though i have no scientific basis for this statement!) and that especially the jowels are caused by excess alcohol, so tell him to knock off the booze, and facial exercises. This said as violaine correctly suggests, an overall diet and exercise plan is the best way to go
