A workmate told me to buy a large pot of cheap Vaseline and liberally smear that on my feet a couple of times a week before bed ,put socks on and in the morning after a hot bath or shower to rub the hard skin off with a footfile and then rub in some footcream.I have never had any more really hard skin on my feet . if it does start to get a bit hard out comes the Vaseline.
Soak feet at night and use a pumice stone.
Slather on as much moisturising cream as you possibly can - and then some more. The cheap stuff is ideal - E45 is good. Wrap feet in cling film, pop a sock on top.
Leave until morning. Wash feet when you take the cling film off.
Keep this up for a week, and you should be fine.
While you are doing this, it is important to protect your feet during the day, so no hiking in sandals.

This is an excellent relief for dry skin. It's Paraffin Wax Treatment. I know it looks expensive for 1st out lay but it will keep your feet absolutely scrumptious :-)

For a first go, book into a Beauty Therapy Salon where they do this, and give it a go.
Then if you like it, buy the heater and treat yourself :-)

I had a similar problem to yours. I have been using a product made by a german company called balsan. Its a herbal cream that prevents hard skin, it has worked miracles. I actually had a Balsan treatment at a place in Northwood Hills, Middlesex. It involved hard skin being removed and then the balm was used at home. The clinic I had my treatment at was called Allay Health & Beauty...here is their site... www.allayltd.com
