Nasal Polyps

Has anyone had nasal polyp surgery, only for the polyps to return at a later date ? If so, how long was it before your polys returned and did you have the 'op' again?

My friends husband has had the operation 2 yrs ago and it was a great sucess especially from her point of view it stopped him snoring

i had nasal polyps at the age of 14 and had them removed. they grew back ten years later when i was 24 and had the op again. that was 5 years ago and prob could do with having them done again although i can breathe out of one nostril so might leave it a few more years.

thank you both for your answers - I fear I've been unlucky because mine has grown back only five months after surgery - unlucky me !!!
