Exercise and bowel movement

I''ve recently started excercise again after some time off due to an injury during which time I had IBS, bloating etc.
I am now in my 5th week but I have noticed my bowel movement and erm the product! has improved.
Why is this?

Diet, healthy living, exercise etc all affect the general consistency of your motions. If work was stressful and you weren't eating properly, maybe the time off and a change in diet has contributed to this.
every morning drink a glass of water before your usual tea / coffee. this helps your body regulate the bowel by rehydrating it with the water. hope this helps. radio.
