wrong date on accident

i had a small accedent in my car and the other party put the wrong date (of the accedent)on his insurance form, does this affect his claim.

no - as soon as you advise of the mistake the claim can be changed - the material facts of the claim remain the same - imagine if you were named Smyth and the claimant put you name as Smith etc. etc.
