Sore fingertips and itchy palms and soles

Hi! About 10 days ago my feet and ankles started itching - not constantly, just occasionally. Assumed cat had fleas although I usually get red lumps with flea bites - not general itching with nothing to see. Now it's my soles and also palms of my hands. I haven't changed washing powder or washing liquid. Yesterday my fingertips/nails started hurting. Feel like they're bruised. Pressure on them hurts so things like doing buttons is difficult. Gets slightly easier through day but still hurt. Has anyone any idea what the matter might be, please? Thanks

have you recently started any new meds as they can affect skin etc ?? just a thought
