I am 64, female and have type 2 diabetes treated with tablets and insulin. I also feel tired a lot but need to take more exercise to counteract weight gain from the insulin. I cannot get too hungry or stressed as I get hypos. Should I exercise before breakfast, after lunch or when is the best time? I am thinking of 30 mins light jogging to start off.

I'd suggest eating an hour before exercise, regardless of the time you begin. Make sure you check your blood sugar before exercise and after too, as exercise can reduce levels.

Always carry Dextro tablets or a sugary drink like Lucozade, so if you do feel Hypoglycaemic you can bring your levels back up.

20-30 minutes of moderate exercise to begin is fine.
