I have high blood pressure and have recently been given tablets to relax the artery`s and to lower the pressure. I also have facial flushing for some years now, so won`t these tablets surely worsen the flushing problems. I have been told they may help and also told they will only make it worse.
Does any one know???
Thanks in advance.

My case is similar, bustergut - the blood pressure is lower, but have not noticed any difference in anything else - so that may be good news or bad depending on whether you are a pessimist or an optimist, I suppose!
If you find the side effects of these tablets uncomfortable, please go back to your GP and talk about it to her/him.... there are lots of other alternative medications available - you need to find the *right* ones for you, since you will probably be on these tablets for the rest of your life.

PS - I had hypertension and was on medication but then I adopted two cats....my bp is now what is was about 25 years ago - something to do with stroking wee beasties I reckon !
sorry, what *it* was about 25 years ago !
