thanks red. its all so confusing i have only ever had the injection but as we want to put of having another baby for 12 months i dont want to get back on the injection as it takes too long to come out your system
Id have though that the mini pill might be easier to get out of system at the end of 12 months than a combined. Have you not thought of barrier methods instead?
i have spent the last 3 days in and out of clinic and doctors. i was told to have the coil but the nurse said that they only recomend it to women who have given birth but because both of mine were born through section they said it is hard to insert it. the injection has made me put on so much weight that i cannot get rid of and doc advised against the implant its all too confusing
what are you taking now if anything ( if u dont mind me askin ) what experience have you had with different methods
i was on the pill after matthew was born (combined, cant recall brand name) and i piled on 3st in 6 months so i stopped. I then used condoms but we were a bit silly and fell with Amelia.
Since Amelia has been born weve used the condom again, each time, but as yet i havnt seen my period so maybe ive messed that up again lol
this is the only thing that worries me about the pill, me falling pregnant. we have just booked a holiday for next august so wanted to wait till just before holiday then come off the pill.
my sil has 2 girls aged 3 and 1 and found out yesterday that she was pregnant and she only missed the pill for one day. think i mite have to set reminders on my phone
i put on loads of weight with the injection and now i am struggling to lose it
I took Yasmin for about 2 years many, many years ago. I gained lots of weight too and became clinically depressed, to the point of having suicidal thoughts. Obviously doctors never said it could cause depression and would probably deny it does, but as soon as I stopped taking it, I felt much better and the depression went.
ya i had the same problem with yasmin. . its new on the market so they dont know much about it. i was very depressed on it too and had to be taken off it.. my doc said a lot of women came back to him about yasmin with the same problem, but then again my friend has been on it for nearly a year and finds it great.
