Yasmin Pill

Hey everyone.

I am going on holiday with my partner in September and of course I am very excited! But I have just looked and I am due on my period the day that we go! I am currently on Yasmin pill, is it ok to just take all types of pill non stop and not have your pill free week?!

If possible I would just prefer to not have a pill free week and just carry on taking the pill but I am wondering whether that would mess with my hormones, I would rather not have sex than be a miserable cow all week!

Any advice would be welcome.

I have read the leaflet but I wanted to know if anyone had had any horrible side effects from constantly taking the pill as it does mess with your hormones.

Like I said I dont want to spend the week of my holiday all emotional and hormonal because my body wasnt use to constantly being on the pill.

No I do it regularly and i'm fine, no grumpiness!! Checked with my Dr and they say it's 100% safe to do as well!

due to getting bad period pains the doctor actually encouraged me to take up to 3 packets in a row then have my period before doing the same again.

I do the same as Joannie and I'm on Yasmin. I'm on my fourth packet now without a break. I'm no more miserable than usual LOL. The only kinds of pill you can't do it on are the ones with varying amounts of hormones in each of the pills - they are usually different colours for different weeks - but for some reason can't think what they're called at the minute!
