How old, is too old, to get a tattoo?

hy wildchild ,i have 4 tattoos and im in my 40s my mother is 70 and for her birthday she "surprised us" with her tattoo ...not bad for an old girl .ma dad wasnt happy though lol

well, it doensnt matter what age you get it, it will still be there when you are 40.....so i say any age to too old, as it s only a matter of time before you will start to look silly

i got mine at the ripe old age of....37!!!

i've wanted one since i was 18 but, never got round to it.

i have three love hearts on my lower back with my partner and two childrens names on surrounded in a tribal symbol. sounds big but its not

i love it!!!!.....and i've never regretted having it done....in my book you're NEVER to old.....i think....

Nice one jane, I will be 32 next week, and would love something that is kind of a symbol to my hubby and kids.

Will take on bord all the answers and if I do go for it, I wont be rushing into it lightly!

I dont think there is an age limit, I have seen women in their 70s getting tattoos

not my bag personally though

One of my neighbours is 65 and has a couple of tattooes (shoulder & ankle) she had done when she was younger.

She has fluid retention so the dolphin on her swollen ankle now looks like an ugly, distorted sea monster, and the one on her shoulder is wrinkled & faded.

thats why i had mine on my back....
the only one who will see it wrinkled is him indoors....lol
