Why are my spots taking a long time to heal?

Hi all, I've always been prone to spots at a young age and even get them still today at the age of 27!

What I have noticed is when I get the spots the scar or mark of it is still there after a month and I've not even popped it!

Is it a lack of some sort of vitamin in my body?

I've got exactly the same problem but only around my chin and I was told it was hormone imbalance and have been given the yasmin pill to try to combat it. Are your spots all over or concentrated in one place?
