I am not sure what you mean by "suddenly becomes active"
Chronic HBV sufferers tend not to have "flair ups of symptoms unless they develop another unrelated disorder. Chronic HBV sufferers tend to have varying degrees of nausea, loss of appetite, yellowish skin etc or maybr none of these. So, what do you mean by "suddenly becomes active?"
as far as i was aware, you eithe rhave hep b or you dont - you are not a "carrier" as such
He han't answered my question bednobs, but I assume that he is HBV+ and has been symtomless for some time and now something has happened.

my girlfriend had a test and the virus is active. thats all we know. she has probably had it all her life. she is 27 now. what does this mean thougth?
Question Author
sorry no symptoms no but she went for a test just to check everything
Well, active or not, it does mean that she can transmit the disease to you via blood to blood transmission and also through sexual activity. If she becomes pregnant, she can also transmit the disease to the foetus. I am still not sure what you mean by her virus has suddenly bbecome active.
