viali,,,,you are fishing for compliments as you know bl00dy well that those statistics are good for ANY age.
Why do you need new hips and who says that you do?
Question Author
i have needed new hips for 7 years they are now nearly completely knackered.
i played a lot of pro football in australia and have been building for years plus many other things ..they are just worn out..i want a bionic pair so i can do a triathlon by the age of 50
vialli....you haven't answered my questions and "knackered" is not a medical term that I am familiar with.
Blimey - I'm 46 and I only swim half a mile in 35 minutes. I know I'm not a very fast swimmer, but you're twice as fast as me, and I don't need new hips (or maybe I do...............!!!)

sqad i need new hips becaue 7 years ago ,for the first time in 20 years i went to a dr.with a bad back .immediately he sent me to get an xray on my hips where it became evident that whilei am very fit my hips had no cartiledge at all round them or fluid and it was just bone on bone.through exercise and my ,unwillingness to havean operation,i am now at a stage where medium walks are extremely difficult and painful

pity you cant swim or row to work. Never mind, I am sure you are very impressive at the gym until you have to walk to the shower and it takes you 2 hours to walk 10 metres.
