I feel fat...
36 Answers
... literally. I have my hands down my trouser front right now, because my belly itches for some strange reason & I'm giving it a good scratch. Yes, I am in the office, but am alone at the moment, so am not offending anyone with my fumblings.
I have put on 4lbs over the xmas period & boy, can I tell. If I'm stood up I look ok, especially if I remember to pull the stomach muscles in, but when I am sat down I have these 'rolls' - not attractive, not good & not clever.
How can I lose this belly fat without eating or drinking less? Would 500 abdo crunches a day do it?

My weight is ok for my height, my BMI is spot on, but it's all concentrated on the belly area. So unfair. If I could squeeze some of it upwards & some downwards, a bit like the magic knicker effect but permanent rather than temporary, I would be ok.
I cannot, will not, diet. As soon as I think the word diet, a bubble pops up above my head with pictures of pizza, pies, butties, cheese ..... Do you think liposuction would hurt?

I used to feel fat ... whenever I cuddled my Ex ... ha ha ha !!
No, seriously ... 4lbs isn't too much Salla ... if you go back to your pre-Christmas "normal" eating habits, I'm sure it will just gradually disappear.
Or ... if your office chair has arms ... take a tight grip of the arms and raise your knees up and down. You'll feel it working the midriff very quickly (although you might look a bit silly).
Alternatively, come down here and spend a few hours pounding the pebbles on the beach, and it will just vanish!

I had one sara - I used it religiously for a while. I had it on the highest setting for up to 2 hours at a time sometimes. I used to lay in bed watching tv with my belly twitching under the covers & every now & again emitting an 'ouch' when the tingle got a bit too much. Can't say I noticed much of a difference, & now the damn thing's worn out.
I tried powerplates at the gym last year - I quite liked the idea of 10 minutes a day on them & no real effort involved, but once again by the time I had parted with about 75 I still felt no benefit.
Truth is, I like my food and am basically lazy. I don't mind swimming, cycling, walking etc in the summer but other than that my idea of exercise is munching on a cheese sarnie whilst reading a book & exercising my Kegel muscles every now & then (the only ones I do exercise regularly).

I know the feeling. I am getting married in 198 days time and me and the changing room mirrors fell out when I was trying on a dress the other day. We have a cross trainer at home, but all I do is look at it. I know I need to lose weight, because I feel uncomfortable. Like you it is settled in the belly area. Can't use having a baby as an excuse because I went straight back to pre pregnancy weight and she is now 14! But don't want to spend my day wobbling or having to wear un sext controlling underwear!
