Resistance Training
1 Answers
Can anyone give me some advice re resistance bands? I used to be quite strong and rather slim, through genuine hard work; in my younger days of course!!! I now have a job which involves a lot of driving and eating out, the obvious result is a fat belly and loss of muscle strength. Can anyone advise what kind of weight these well advertised resistance bands equate to and whether they are of any use to a traveller who wants to exercise instead of eating cake??

I have three bands of different strengths. I rarely use the "soft" one. I found an interim one is best all round, and a strong one for that extra "burn". Your body weight creates the resistance.
I found that they do a reaaly good job for an all round work out., i have a routine which does sides, tum, legs and arms all using one band.
They are well worth it.
