Hi Wonky,

Sorry if you get 2 v similar answers but I just posted one and it disapeared!  Do you know there are specific fertility forums out there? try fertilityfriends.co.uk or similar.  Try not to get to down - at least you now know what the problem is and can do something about it, you might find you get a buzz out of seeking treatment as you are actively doing something about it.  I don't think there are hard and fast answers or guarentees so chin up and take care. XX

Hi Wonky,  I just want to say don't give up.  my sister has just gone through quite literally every treatment under the sun, and after 8 yrs, she has today had a perfect baby girl.  At least you are now finding out what might be causing problems, there are so many help groups, websites, information out there, and so many new treatments available so don't give up !  Good luck

Hi Wonky,

Im so glad you changed doctors and are now getting the attention you deserve!  I had a fertility problem which was sorted.  However, it was not the same as yours.

I am sure that the fertility clinic will do their very best for you and wish you all the luck in the world!!!

You must look forward and not be bitter about the last three years.

Take Care  xxxx

Hi wonky  just to let you know you are not a pain haven't exactly got any advice about tests and medication but just to tell you don't give up hope.

You hear lots of stories about people who are trying to conceive and when they least expect it they find out that they are pregnant.

Hope you get everything sorted out - take care and don't let it get you down think positive x

Try the Fertility Issues board on http://www.ivillage.co.uk/boards and you should get some really helpful advice and support from women who are going through the same thing. It's such a tough thing to go through, I know how incredibly lucky I am not to have had fertility problems but don't give up and remember a lot of people have overcome difficulties and gone on to have one or more lovely babies. Take care xxx
Hi Wonky, that must be so frustrating!  At least now you have a doctor who will really help you, and you can look forward to some solutions instead of endless waiting.  Good luck!!!

Thank you wonky for letting us know how you're getting on, and you're not being a pain!

I'm so please that you've found a doctor that understands what you're going through and is prepared to help.

I really hope that all works out well for you.

Take care and good luck xxxx

I have heard that reflexology can be useful in becoming pregnant.  Also someone I know who had been trying for four years feels that acupuncture helped her.

hi there, I am sorry to hear about your problem, I had a simialar. I had to go see an infertility dc too. All I can tel you is be patient, I know that is hard. I was the same way. I tried chlomid had to go for shots, and for insems. That was tough. I switch docs and the 2nd doc ran tests and noticed my levels were out ot whack. So he signed me up for IVF. He gave me meds that would help with my ovulating. I did this for 10 days. I went back to the doc and was about to do my blood draws and sign up for my first day for IVF. I get a call the NEXT day that I was already 6 wks. I couldn't believe it. MY son is now 2 1/2 yrs old. Good luck and if this info helps. Ask for a med for your progesterone level My friend used this for 6 wks and she is now 18 wks.

Hi Wonky

Me and my Husband have been trying for a baby for past 3 years and to no avail. Recently went to my GP and has confirmed that i have low progesterone and not ovulating. My GP has referred me to see a gynocologist, yet i am really worried about this as i have searched on the internet and am unsure what low progesterone is a sign of.

My GP said that i will probably have to be given Clomid to kick start ovulation procedures.

Just wondered if anything has worked for you x
