swollen foot

my friend is 63 yrs old has angina also on water tablets,a little obese his foot keeps swelling up like a balloon but he wont go doctors,he lost his wife in feb and is still trying to come to terms with it ,he just wont go docs and i was thinking shall i ring the docs for advice.

smurfy.....just to check...is that one foot or both? Is the foot painful or not? Has he been out in the sun?

There are so many causes of this (Unilateral ankle oedema) that he needs to see his GP re further investigation.

just one foot yes it does seem the heat dont help,he has to get up and walk about .

OK...it could be the heat...........he really needs to see his GP, but "you can lead a horse to water, but you......" you know the rest.
