Hey everyone. When i go to bed at 1ish and sometimes 2, (i don't know why i stay up that late either) set my alarm for 7am i get up fine, nice and bright, happy etc. however if i go to bed at 10 or 11 and set my alarm for 7 i CAN'T get up and if i need to get up for something i can get up after half an hour of snoozes, otherwise i just snooze for ages and then tell myself to wake up and make the horrible mistake of turning the alarm off. Next thing i know it's 12 in the afternoon.

I am nearly 15 and thought that the hours sleep i am getting is not enough and then WAY too musch. Can anybody see a problem or might know why this is happening?!?!

I once read that your sleep goes in cycles of about 4 hours (varies somewhat from person to person, but taking 4 as an example).

So if you get 4 hours sleep you'd be ready to wake up and get up, same with 8 hours, or any multiple of 4. However any other amount would mean you waking up in the middle of the cycle, when you aren't ready to wake.

Just a theory, could be something to do with that
