Shingles

I caught shingles on my face in August and a month after got a terrible pain in my leg which then left me with a bad nervy feeling in my knee which is very similar to the shingles feeking but much worse.My doc says the two are not connected but I have my doubts.Has anyone else had a similar experience please?

coriander......on the description that you have given, I cannot , for the life of me, see any connection between your facial herpes and the pain that you are getting in the leg.

coriander.....I have been giving your situation further thought and I have changed my mind. Although the connection does not seem to be apparent, I would see your GP and ask if a brain MRI scan may be indicated.

No big deal, but just a thought.

Thank you Squad. The doc seems to think it is a problem with the sciatic nevrve.
