I love this tune and it seems very appropriate to my life right now!
Anyone got any cures for chronic insomnia? I can't see the doc for sleeping tablets due to my lung disease (sleepers cause respiratory depression),i've tried relaxation techniques, herbal sleepers, alcohol and all the usual 'remedies' but none work :-(
My pain medication (Tramadol) can have an effect on sleep but there is no way I can change the time I take it,otherwise I would be awake all night due to the pain.lol
I've always been a fairly sound sleeper but for the last several months it has been getting gradually worse,i'm now at the point where i'm lucky if I get 2 hours sleep per night and it is really starting to affect my health...........and my sanity.
I haven't slept for a few nights either, Daffy. I am so grumpy with lack of sleep that I ended up having a furious row with someone this morning so I am really feeling quite low at the mo.
It is horrible isn't it NoM!
I have to keep stopping myself from snapping at people,my tolerance for idiots is incredibly low right now and I pity anyone who decides today would be a good day to cold-call me on either the phone or doorstep (we get loads of that round here).
My last ABG's were normal (for me) Sqad but that was a few months ago,I usually avoid having it done as I always end up badly bruised from them drawing the blood....having someone digging around deep in my wrist with a needle is not my idea of fun.lol
Acupuncture isn't advisable for someone with a lung disease alba,I went once a few years ago and the lady refused to do it after she took my medical history.
Read a book (not magazine). No matter how good a read it is, I am usually nodding off by the 2nd or 3rd page! Don't drink tea or coffee. Alcohol will make you go to sleep but wake in the night going to the toilet (and too much is bad for you anway!)
