My wii board would not work last night so I rang the helpline this morning. It seems the rechargable batteries I bought from Argos which says "Wii rechargable batteries" are NOT a Nintendo product & they can knacker the board up!! The help desk was very good & they are sending me a PPL to return the board for replacement however, it could have been a different story all together.

Hi Brucie!

What one did you buy from Argos? We've just bought a wii board plus and bought the accessory pack with rechargable battery pack, is that the one you mean? or the rechargeable battery pack that you buy on it's own? That one I noticed lasts longer than the other once charged by about up to 7 extra hours!!

Thats a bummer for you having to send it back, esp over xmas! I can see we are going to be on ours prob all over xmas, which is good as the telly looks like it is going to be cack!!

Merry Christmas! :o)

Hi I bought the bag with the rechargable batteries which I thought was a Wii product............and no I do not work for Nintendo. My son got the board working for me so panick over. I do think that Argos etc should sell them as "Wii compatable" Merry Christmas to every one of you
