Hi sqad ,I have just returned from my daughter's(age 39) and i am concerned about a problem she has.She has seen her Dr. about pins & needles and a burning effect on the outer part of her right thigh.he told her it was a nerve problem and would go away on it's own..However, she is now also getting the same feelings from the center top her chest and across to under her right armpit. I have told her to go back to the Dr. immediately after Easter.
I wonder i Squad f you could give me your thoughts about this condition.
Thankyou

Den....first of all nothing sinister comes to mind.

I presume that this is not in the past2-3 days, in which shingles comes to mind.

Many possibilities, but on balance, I would agree with the Gp in that this is a neuritis, although not completely typical.

In my opinion, I would leave this until well after Easter to let any signs and symptoms to become apparent.
