I'm a diabetic and because the diabetis has damaged my eyes I have regular laser treatment. They do it with a gel that freezes the eye so you feel no pain.My next session I will have to go into theatre to have done as its quite extensive. But Its nothing to do with the vision laser. Thats purely cosmetic.

Yes Looby, bleeding behind the eye's (Retinopothy) I've had several bouts over the years & as I'm getting older it seems to be occuring more often. My vision isn't too bad can read first 4 lines. I suffer from a lot of 'floaters' though which come & go.
I had a Vitreousectomy last year as I went blind in my right eye, things are ok right now.
Thank god for the NHS.
