My daughter bought me a pedometer as she says I have developed a bit of a paunch *groan*, how many steps should I aim for each day? Realistically as I do drive everywhere.
10,000 is about four miles...which may be difficult for anyone in a desk job. Start off by wearing it both on the weekend and on a normal workday...then you will have an idea of just how much you will need to increase the amount of walking you do.
Retail. But I would walk to and fro from work which was about 4 miles each way they walk all day, up and down stairs. Never really stand still or sit. I once wore a pedometer to work and was stunned at the result lol
