Commonest causes are not congenital.

I thought the word congenital just meant that a condition/ illness was 'present at birth'. Is that not the case? I have known many babies who were born with sticky eyes, two of my own were. It cleared up fairly quickly with eye drops though.

daffy, your quite right, congenital does mmean present at birth, and syndrome means a collection of symptoms .
