afternoon all,
i had some blood tests done last week and the results have come back saying im aneimic.
i saw the doctor yesterday who said theres nothing to worry about, but i need to do 3 pooh samples, so they can rule out there being any blood present.
im then to start a course of iron tablets, have another blood test in 3 weeks time and will go from there..
now, my question is a bit embarrassing lol.. but how much do you need to place in these sample bottle thingies please?
thank you! ;o/
the poo bottles should have a little spoon thing in the lid...about one of those full is enough or if you are constipated one rabbit pellet sized piece..
i know pusskin!
ap's answer is still making me titter lol .....
i can just picture it now ..
me walking into the docs surgery, tupperware box under me arm,
and then proudly handing it over to the girl on reception, smugly tapping the side of my nose in a knowing manner, before turning round and walking back out,
leaving her sitting there holding the box, speechless, mouth agape ... lol
ha ha oh god, I'm in sitches here! I meant to phone doctor today for my test thingy, and I backed out of it due to ambarrasment, lol I'm dreading it lol
loobyloo, I'm laughing too at your innocence on the whole thing!
I bet you were chuckling as you typed the message out in the very beginning, lol.
good luck bye the way, and I hope you dont feel constipated at least till the end of the week x lol
I can remember before they supplied test bottles - I was about 12 and had to take a water sample to the Docs. I half filled a R. Whites Lemonade bottle - which my Mum plonked on the Docs' desk. He looked a little bemused and offered us it back when emptied so we could collect the threepence from the corner shop.
