I don't suppose there is any real answer to this question but why are some people, i.e. me, never ill and with others there always seems to be something wrong.
I think my last cold was about 3 years ago and before that I can't remember a time when I was just generally ill. Well apart from the dodgy KFC on xmas eve that ruined my crimbo but that's a different story. It's not even like I have a healthy diet that's boosting my immune system, I eat rubbish. By rights I should be on my last legs.
Oh I'm not complaining. I know I'm lucky. It does make me very unsympathetic though. I never give a monkeys when other people are ill, and that's if I believe them in the first place.
Butch, I'm not quite sure why you think Gillian Mckeith is my mum. I hope you are not suggesting I look like her.
I have some friends who are always ill and some who never have a virus from one year to the next. I think good genes may play a part. The food police always used to bang on about the `5 a day` but recently there have been trials to say that is all a lot of old bo11ox. I think one`s frame of mind plays a part in the immune system. I have a friend who is always at the doctor`s. She is no more ill than I am but because she is a perfectionist she will go along to sort a problem out where you or I would just ignore it.
237 - I have got the feeling with a few people in the past that there is stuff all wrong with them, they just like the attention they get when they are 'ill'. It's almost like they want something to be wrong.
Dris - I pity the poor sod who will one day have to put up with me when I do get ill/pregnant. Ha!
I never go to the Docs but because I work in a Nursery School cleaning I pick up anything going from the kiddies.
Its a bleeding nuisance and I barry on but I dont feel well.
That`s just reminded me. I never had the TB jab at school but I was tested several years ago for TB and it turned out that I had my own immunity because I had been exposed to TB.
