Flu
5 Answers
I have been up for most of the night with aching joints and muscles, chills, fever, sore throat, headache and cough. I think it is the flu. Do I need to phone my GP for advice as I have a pre existing chronic lung condition, or should I just treat it as I normally would with ibuprofen and rest?

I don't feel any worse than I would with flu without lung disease present, but then it only started in the early hours of today so i'm sure i'll feel worse before I feel better! I will get my other half to nip into the GP surgery later on this morning for some advice, he may be able to talk to a nurse or doctor instead of just a busybody receptionist that way.
