Well, I have to report that it was a doddle! I'm neither small chested or have huge bazookas, but it was a lot better than I had anticipated - in fact I would go as far as to say that I honestly couldn't say it was even 'uncomfortable'.

Maybe it depends on the size - maybe it depends on how used you've been over the previous years to having your breasts fondled & massaged (?!!!)

Seriously, it was fine. Didn't need any gin. Now I await results.

Well done Tilly!
Re para2- maybe that's why Mrs WY was uncomfortable when she had hers done

<<make note to self - must massage wife's breasts more often>>

Glad all went well, Sal

The one hilarious thing about it (as well as the relief at there being no pain) was that I got chatted up! In a breast clinic! By a patient here! But this isn't for health & fitness - I shall tell that particular story over on chatterbank later....

I know so far it's you fellas on here, despite it being a predominantly female subject (no 'ism meant) but I breastfed my babes for a year apiece. Maybe that took all sensitivity away from those areas? The little buggers, especially the daughter, was so rough with me, I've lost any feeling there. Plus, of course, the years of fondling and furtling of said bosoms.
I'll look out for that one Tilly!
I'm sure results will be fine salla. Glad the experience was better than thought,
I wish I could say that (you saw the mammo joke) mine was like that & I'm only a 'B' cup.

jem
Would like to echo others. Glad it went better than anticipated and I hope the results are both good and arrive quickly xx

Hope you had a gin anyway x

Oh yes Jemisa, I saw the mammo joke - it was very reassuring just before my first mammogram experience !!! I did see the funny side, as I usually do, thank goodness.

I'm a 38C, but they've had a bit of a battering, breastfeeding wise. I suppose we're all different - same as when it comes to smear tests also? Some hate them, find them painful & embarrassing. I don't actually mind them - it's a necessity all we woman should subject ourselves to every so often, for our own sake.
I didnt catch your thread Salla but im glad it went well.I didnt find it painful or uncomfortable either....just awkward the positions I had to get in to fit the breasts in and that went for the mammogram as well;)
Well worth going and also talking about it candidly -im sure it helps other ladies.
Question Author
True. Though I might steer away from discussing cervical smears in too much detail.... Although, this is health and fitness? Trouble is, we get too many pervy chatterbankers on here too !!!!
Leave me and sqad out of this, Sal lol
Question Author
I'm just waiting for sqad's contribution on the 'chatting up' thread !!
glad it went well x
Glad it went ok Salla. Didnt mean to frighten you with my earlier post. xx
Question Author
You didn't ToH. Though it did make me laugh with the awful timing of it!!
Cheers salla, glad it went well. IMO so much about the discomfort depends on the individual woman's shape, not just the boobs but the rest as well. I've got a high ribcage so that often seems to get in the way too!
See Salla, we told you it would be o.k. The results normally about 2 weeks. I am sure they will be fine. xx
