Update about my daughter
6 Answers
Hi all.
I posted last week saying I was worried about my daughter, who has a bowel problem. She saw a specialist yesterday and although she still needs to have the colonoscopy soon, he said that he thought it was colitis (well done on your diagnosis Sqad!). She has also got a fistula which wll need operating on. Bloods have been taken and they are testing for hyperthyroidism, Crohn's and also liver function.
She is staying very positive and is less freaked out after seeing the specialist than she was this time last week!
Thanks again to everyone who replied to my original post-very helpful.
Best wishes, Maz x

Even though I said I wouldn't go on the internet looking up symptoms, I did so and there does seem to be reason to think they are looking a a possibility of Crohn's. ie: weight loss, the fistula, blood loss and cramping. Will obviously let you know what the outcome of the tests and colonoscopy is.
