Boy confusion!

I went to a party not so long ago. I got with this boy who's in a band and is best friends with my best friends bf! I went to one of his gigs not so long ago and he winked at me while he was singing and was being flirty! Then last night at a party he kept looking at me and sitting near me which, I thought was enough for me to go and speak to him I did and that was ok at first. Then I was drunk by this time and still saw he was looking at me so I was speaking to him but he was like walking away. Now I am so confused my best friends bf says it is because he is in a band and doesn't want to get too attached but I thought we can at least be friends. Am I reading the signals wrong, I really like him and it hurts!

Sounds to me like  you might have come on a bit too strong- without realising it. If you were drunk, you may not have been the nice demure girl that so many men like! I would play it cool from now on. Be friendly to him, but don't make any signs that you fancy him. If he wants to stay single because he is in a band, that clearly means he wants to be able to have flings with no ties. You really wouldn't want to be one of those flings, would you?!
